Dottie’s Delights is a high-end vintage inspired lingerie line named after the designer, Stephanie Kuhr, grand mother. Straight out of Chicago, this young fashion designer as not even an official collection out there and she already have been recognized by the industry. She was selected as one of the 6 designers in residence at the Chicago fashion incubator (sponsored by Macy’s and the City of Chicago) for 2010. What a strong way to start a career! Her first collection to hit the store is due for this upcoming Spring. Can’t wait!!!

Tout droit sortie de Chicago, cette jeune créatrice de mode n’a même pas sa première collection sur les tablettes qu’elle est déjà reconnue par l’industrie. Am I in heaven? Cosmetics with Wonder Woman packaging!!! My heroine of all time! Since I was a little girl, I dreamed of wearing gold bracelets to protect me and help me go trough the trials of life… Now at least, I will be able to wear a lipstick with her emblem on it. That might not protect me really well, but at least I will look sexy trying to do it! The launch of the collection is due for Feb 10 th 2011. So, my dear friends, Sawyer and Golt, I think you will see me at The Bay M.A.C store on this day!!!

Yesterday, it was the birthday of one of my favorite artist. I like her art for a long time now and I had the chance to recently meet her in person at one of our girls night out! NO disappointment, she is just like what her art reflects! Most of her work manage to pleased both sides of my personality; the princess who can beat the hell out of you! And I think this can describe her as well. I also really enjoy the cynical aspect of her work who flirts with a dark kind of humor. Zema is the kind of girl who can take up different types of challenges. As a multidisciplinary artist, she can easily indulge in duties of artistic director or spray cans on a concrete wall. What an inspiration she is!

Hier, c’était l’anniversaire d’une de mes artistes favorites. J’apprécie ses oeuvres depuis déjà longtemps et j’ai récemment eu la chance de la rencontrer en personne à l’une de nos soirées de filles. AUCUNE déception, elle est ce que son art reflète! La plupart de ses oeuvres réussissent à plaire aux deux facettes de ma personnalité; La petite princesses qui peut botter bien des derrières si nécessaire! Et je crois bien, que cette phrase la décrit tout autant. Le côté cynique, une sorte d’humour sombre, de ses pièces vient tout autant me chercher. Zema est le genre de fille à qui on peut lancer différent type de défis. Étant une artiste multi-disciplinaire, elle peut facilement se complaire dans des tâches de directrice artistique qu’à bombarder de peinture un mur de béton. Une inspiration quoi!

Here is a preview of spring 2011 collection from Agent Provocateur, one of my favorite lingerie line. The campaign is featuring Josephine de la Baume, a french singer and actress. Once again, controversial is the key word here. The concept of this campaign is highly voyeuristic, especially because of the short film they created together who looks like a pervert intrusion into de la Baume hotel room. See the short film here.
Voici un avant-gout de la collection printemps 2011 d’agent Provocateur, une de mes compagnies de lingerie favorite. La campagne de publicité met en scène Joséphine de la Baume, une chanteuse et actrice française. Encore une fois, le mot controverse est de mise. Le concept de la campagne, tourne autour d’un vidéo très voyeur dit ‘’secret’’ de de la Baume en train de se dévêtir dans la chambre de son hôtel. Pour voir le court métrage, ici.

Curioser and Curioser - Jean-Paul Gaultier x Roche Bobois
What an awesome collaboration! Gaultier has always been attracted by Interior design but this is his first real furniture design collaboration. I particularly like the interpretation of the nautical stripes on the sofa and the calligraphic stripes as well. And what about the travel case commode! Let's say Jean-Paul Gaultier still has the touch even after so many years in fashion!
Quelle collaboration géniale! Gaultier a toujours été attiré par le design d'intérieur, mais ceci est sa toute première collaboration de conception de meubles. J'aime particulièrement l'interprétation des rayures nautiques ainsi que des rayures calligraphiques. Et que dire de la commode fait de valises! Disons simplement que Gaultier a encore la ''touch'', et ce même après tant d'années en mode!
