Curioser and Curioser - Jean-Paul Gaultier x Roche Bobois

What an awesome collaboration! Gaultier has always been attracted by Interior design but this is his first real furniture design collaboration. I particularly like the interpretation of the nautical stripes on the sofa and the calligraphic stripes as well. And what about the travel case commode! Let's say Jean-Paul Gaultier still has the touch even after so many years in fashion!

Quelle collaboration géniale! Gaultier a toujours été attiré par le design d'intérieur, mais ceci est sa toute première collaboration de conception de meubles. J'aime particulièrement l'interprétation des rayures nautiques ainsi que des rayures calligraphiques. Et que dire de la commode fait de valises! Disons simplement que Gaultier a encore la ''touch'', et ce même après tant d'années en mode!

Curioser and Curioser – Zillion Kimono Fabric Skate Deck –

Cool Hunting teamed up with the creative Tokyo based label Zillion for a limited edition collaboration, a series of deck covered (on both sides) with dead kimono fabrics. Offered with or without wheels, they sale from 750$ to 850$.

It’s Friday and it’s party time with the girls tonight! So why not talk about champagne! Even better, talk about champagne that comes in metallic bottles ornate with hand applied spades shaped labels! For those who know me well, you will immediately understand that it is not the alcohol that caught my attention (cough) but the spades! I’m so addicted to this card game figure! The precious bottle is also wrapped in an embroidered velvet bag. Oh la la! That’s what we called celebrating in style and here it is totally the case. André Courrèges, a Parisian fashion house, designed the bottle.

C’est vendredi et on fait la fête entre les filles ce soir! Alors, parler de champagne est tout à fait de mise! Encore mieux, parler de champagne dans une bouteille métallique ornée d’une étiquette appliquée à la main en forme de pique! Ceux et celles qui me connaissent bien comprendront tout de suite que ce n’est pas du tout (tousse) l’alcool qui a attiré mon attention, mais bien le pique! Je suis complètement addict à cette figure de jeux de carte! De plus, le liquide précieux est emballé dans un sac de velours brodé. Oh la la! C’est ce qu’on appelle célébrer avec style! Romano Ricci, grandson of Nina Ricci and creator of the line, is definitely flirting with vengeance, power and seduction. Honestly isn’t it for at least one of these reasons that we should wear perfume?
